By accessing or using WorkForge, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

2. Platform Role & Disclaimer

WorkForge is a platform only.

• We do not employ contractors
• We do not employ businesses
• We do not guarantee work, outcomes, or payments
• We do not act as an agent, broker, or employer

All work agreements, payments, and obligations are solely between businesses and contractors.

3. Eligibility

To use WorkForge, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have legal capacity to enter into contracts
• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Comply with all applicable Australian laws

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.

4. Account Registration

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep login details secure
• Notify us of any unauthorised access

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

5. User Types

WorkForge supports:

• Businesses – entities seeking contractors
• Contractors – individuals or entities offering services
• Admins – platform moderators

Access and permissions vary by user type.

6. Verification

WorkForge uses a manual verification process for contractors and, where applicable, businesses.

• Verification may include ABN, licences, and insurance
• Verification does not guarantee quality, performance, or compliance
• Verification status may be approved, pending, rejected, or revoked

We reserve the right to request updated documents at any time.

7. Jobs & Engagements

Job postings, applications, and engagements are managed through the platform. All work arrangements are between the business and contractor.

8. Payments

WorkForge does not process payments between users.

• All payments are handled directly between businesses and contractors
• WorkForge does not hold funds, provide escrow, or manage refunds
• Any payment disputes must be resolved directly between the parties

9. Fees & Paid Features

Core platform usage is free.

• Optional paid features (e.g. featured listings, advertising) may be offered
• Paid features are fixed-price and time-based
• Featured placements do not guarantee work or results
• All paid features are subject to admin approval

10. Ratings & Reviews

• Users may leave ratings and reviews after job completion
• Reviews must be honest and factual
• Abusive, misleading, or defamatory content is prohibited
• We reserve the right to moderate or remove reviews at our discretion

11. Messaging & Communication

• Messaging is job-based and subject to platform rules
• Harassment, spam, or misuse of messaging is prohibited
• We may monitor or review messages if required for moderation or disputes

12. Disputes

• WorkForge does not provide automated dispute resolution
• Disputes may be flagged to admin for review
• Admin decisions are final within the platform context
• Legal disputes remain the responsibility of the involved parties

13. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Provide false information
• Misrepresent qualifications or identity
• Circumvent platform systems
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Use the platform for illegal purposes

Violations may result in suspension or termination.

14. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts if:

• Terms are violated
• Fraudulent activity is suspected
• Verification fails or expires
• Platform misuse occurs

Termination may occur without prior notice.

15. Intellectual Property

• WorkForge branding, software, and content belong to WorkForge
• Users retain ownership of their own content
• By using the platform, you grant WorkForge a licence to display your content within the platform

16. Privacy

Use of WorkForge is subject to our Privacy Policy.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• WorkForge is not liable for job outcomes, losses, or disputes
• We are not responsible for user conduct
• We do not guarantee platform availability or uptime

18. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify WorkForge against claims arising from:

• Your use of the platform
• Your breach of these Terms
• Your interactions with other users

19. Changes to Terms
